Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 2026
Cool Runnings Sportfishing Charters is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the accepted international standard for web accessibility.
Our Commitment
We work continuously to improve the user experience for everyone visiting fishcoolrunnings.com. We test for accessibility compliance, audit our content, and apply industry best practices for inclusive design. Our goal is for any angler, regardless of ability, to be able to learn about our fishing charters, browse our service areas, view our gallery, and book a trip without barriers.
Assistive Technology Support
Our site is designed to work with the following assistive technologies and accessibility features:
Screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. Keyboard-only navigation throughout the site. Browser zoom and text resizing without breaking layout. High-contrast modes and operating system color preferences. Voice control software such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking and Voice Access. Reduced-motion preferences for users who experience motion sensitivity.
Accessibility Widget
We have integrated an accessibility widget into our website to allow visitors to adjust visual settings, including text size, contrast, color filters, link highlighting, and reading aids. The widget is available from any page on the site through the floating accessibility icon. Settings persist across page loads during your session.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content on our website may not yet be fully accessible. Areas where we are actively working to improve include some user-uploaded gallery images that may not yet have detailed alternative text, third-party embedded content from social media or booking platforms that may not meet our accessibility standards, and older blog posts that predate our current accessibility guidelines. We are working to address these limitations and welcome feedback.
Reporting Accessibility Issues
If you encounter any accessibility barriers on our website, or if you have suggestions for how we can improve, please reach out. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will work to address concerns promptly. Contact us by phone at 954-588-0578 or by email at coolrunningsfishing@gmail.com. When reporting an issue, please include the URL where you experienced the barrier, the assistive technology you were using, and a brief description of the problem.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is not a one-time project but an ongoing commitment. We review and update our site regularly to maintain compliance with current standards and to incorporate user feedback. This statement was last reviewed in May 2026 and will be updated as our site evolves.
