Captain Robinson is a fine captain to go fishing with.. Friendly, knowledgeable and knows the local waters well. He does everything he can to make your fishing dreams come true. Be careful with other guides that just sit around waiting for the bite, captain Robinson will run and gun until he finds fish.
Had so much fun fishing with my 12 year old son today and Captain Jason from Cool Runnings Sport Fishing. It was our first time kite fishing and we were thrilled with our catch.
Was right on time and put us right on the fish. Was a great experience for first timer and son caught his first tuna. Would definitely recommend and going back soon.

Anyone who's ever booked a fishing charter knows that catching fish is never a guarantee. It's the overall experience that you hope for, and our experience with Capt. Jason was an absolute blast! I have followed @fishcoolrunnings on Instagram for a while now, but have never booked with him until yesterday. Let me just say, I should of booked with him a long time ago. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, but one of the most genuine and kind hearted captains I've ever fished with. This is saying a lot, considering I have been around boats and worked on boats my whole life. He made it his mission to make us as comfortable as possible, especially my wife who can get a little frightened out on the waters at times. He constantly communicated with us as far as what his plan was and what type of fish he had in mind for us to catch. That being said we had the best experience and I landed one of my personal best Mahi. Cool Runnings is very well maintained and cared for, and it's nothing but obvious that Capt. Jason puts in his time and effort to do what he loves. We will 100% be back to fish with him, and will recommend him to anyone who wants to have the experience of a lifetime.
Captain Jason is a class act. Professional, patient, and knowledgeable. His boat is well kept and he definitely knows how to put you on fish. Highly recommend!

Great time out with Capt Jason! Boat is solid and Capt does not mind burning some fuel to find the fish. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting south Florida. Plan on being back onboard myself in a few weeks.
Captain Jason was very attentive. He taught my teenage son some new fishing tips. We are ready to book our next outing. Professional and very clean boat even while fishing, might i add.
Took my little brother for both of our first time deep sea fishing. We had 7 or 8 bites in only a few hours and i caught a sail fish! On my first time finishing! Captain Jason really knows what he's doing, with his guidance u will catch something for sure... the best part about him is u can tell how much he loves fishing and loves what he does!
Captain Jason recently took my 12 year old daughter and I out for a great day of inshore fishing. It happened to be quite a windy day, so Jason adapted the plan and we stayed closer to shore and crushed a few dozen grouper, including the largest one my daughter is likely to catch for a long, long time. I can speak from experience that many other captains would not have adapted the plan, no matter the conditions or client background, and would have taken us deep and gotten us hammered by weather. Overall it was a great day. I can’t recommend Jason enough.
It was such a fun experience! It was our first time offshore fishing and it was amazing. My younger son has never caught a fish before and he caught his 1st and 2nd fish. He was ecstatic! He was bummed when he realized we were done and going back in. He kept saying " I just want to keep fishing." My older son Adrian is already planning our next outing with captain Jason! Thank you so much for taking us and showing us such an amazing time. See you in April for the next trip! ????
Fishing Bonanza
Jason was fantastic. Polite, punctual and very knowledgeable. We had a blast on his boat and caught a ton of fish. I would strongly recommend Captain Jason to anyone looking for a great day out on the water.
I wanted to take two my coworkers out for a half day of mahi-mahi (dolphin) fishing and was referred to Jason. After confirming plans over the phone, we met him at the Haulover boat ramp and were quickly off into the ocean on his 25' boat. After a little hunting, Jason found a school of dolphin and helped us get lines baited and in the water. We pulled a few on the boat and had a great time doing it! On the way back, he setup some lines to troll for kingfish and wahoo, and snagged 3 nice size kings.
When we finished and returned to the boat ramp, Jason cleaned and bagged the fish for us. Needless to say, the mahi was battered, fried, and in my stomach within hours! There's nothing better than eating fresh fish that you pulled out of the ocean only hours earlier.
From listening to his stories, it's clear that Jason has spent the majority of his life and career on the water. Because of this extensive fishing experience he was able to adapt to whatever might be happening on the water (weather permitting) and provide us a great trip! I absolutely intend to go fishing with him again.
Did a half day. Great time, caught tons of fish. Offshore from haulover marina, very convenient and plenty of parking if necessary. I've fished a handful of charters over the last years, this Captain is awesome. Put us on fish and we learned a lot.
What an amazing experience on Cool Runnings.. Captain Jason made everything run smoothly from the booking process to fishing. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained thoroughly what our day will be like. Spot on putting us on fish and helping out, but also letting us catch it on our own! His customer service is superb and will definitely be coming back considering my dad enjoyed his day out. Highly recommend Cool Runnings if you're looking for a great time out on the water.

What a trip! Captain Jason is personable and knows what he is doing. He made sure we were happy. We said we wanted mahi and that's what we got! I had amazing time and I highly recommend this charter. Looking forward to my next trip!
We were referred over to Jason since the weather was going to be a little rough for the original guide we went with and we were happy with the switch. Jason is a great guide and very knowledgeable with the area and has good spots. He tried really hard to get us on fish and was well prepared with all his gear. He made sure that we caught fish no matter the conditions as long as we were comfortable. He conversed with us and kept us entertained and even showed us some spots that we could go and try on our own. Even though it was a tough day of fishing, we were able to relax and still able to catch a decent sized black fin tuna and a couple king fish. We recommend booking with Jason!
What a great day! Went out with a couple friends of mine aboard Cool Runnings with Captain Jason. We really got the a great experience of a full day of fishing. Jason was very knowledge and above all patient with us as we are not avid fishermen. All in all it was a great day we came home with some Mahi, a black fin tuna and some kingfish.

My experience with Cool Runnings was amazing! It was me and my friends' first time deep sea fishing so Jason made sure to explain everything thoroughly without making us feel inexperienced. Jason made sure to arrange all details before we got on the boat and made the booking process extremely easy. We all had a really great time and learned a lot. This excursion was beyond my expectations. I wanted to take my daughter out deep sea fishing but had no idea where to begin. However, Jason explained where we should start and end the day. He was extremely helpful when it came to explaining where we were going and what we were going to do once we arrived. My daughter and I experienced numerous fishing spots in both the intra-coastal waters and off shore areas. In addition to being a great guide, Jason was also an amazing teacher and helped us have a great time. I look forward to our next outing with Jason.
